CGM Patches
Type Strong patches are designed to keep your Diabetes Equipment safe and secure. Best for your exact device, latex-free and made for sensitive skin, and built to hold for 10 or more days when applied correctly.
What is a CGM patch?
A CGM patch, also called an overpatch, is a single adhesive sheet that covers a continuous glucose monitor and bonds to the skin around it. Unlike standard patches that wrap around a sensor, an overpatch covers the entire device. The centre of the patch has no adhesive, so it sticks only to the skin and not to the sensor, which means the patch can be changed without dislodging the device underneath.
A CGM (continuous glucose monitor) is the medical device that reads your glucose, and a CGM patch is a separate product that helps keep that device on your body. New to CGMs? Start with our guide, What is a CGM and how does it work?
